GE Profile Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator The name implies that GE's Profile series is geared towards those who want to incorporate cutting-edge technology into their kitchen. They're easy to open and close, but I found their plastic textured coatings to be a bit hard on the fingers. The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator includes all the features you would expect from a refrigerator within this price range. It has Wi-Fi as well as app support and GE's SmartHQ Software. The app is compatible with iOS and Android devices and allows you to control your refrigerator from anywhere in the globe. It also has a lot of customization options. It will also send you notifications when the door is unlocked and when the freezer or fridge must be defrosted and when the filter needs to be changed. It is nice if the GE PYE22PYNFS came with Precise Fill it's an option in other GE refrigerators that allows you to set the number of cups of water you'd like to pour out at once. The fridge displays a countdown timer to display how much water remains however it's not as effective as Precise Fill. Bosch Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator The Bosch French-door Refrigerator is a striking piece. It's designed to appear like it's a seamless component in your kitchen. The fridge uses fingerprint-resistant stainless steel, which is a great feature for busy households. It also boasts a veggie compartment to keep vegetables and fruits fresher for longer, and two compressors for maximum preservation of food. The Ice maker we tested is one of the most efficient and produces the shape of a pyramid using only water. This refrigerator is ideal for a single household or a kitchenette with a built-in appearance and top-of-the line food preservation. This fridge was the top-rated refrigerator in our Refrigerators test for a few reasons. The temperature of the freezer remained constant at just above 0°F and never changed more than a tiny fraction – this is crucial to avoid the risk of a freezer burn. The fridge's fridge section also performed well, achieving the desired temperature for initial set within an hour and keeping that temperature steady throughout the course of our testing. Bosch is a household name for its top-quality appliances. Therefore, it's not a surprise that the Bosch counter depth refrigerator can be connected to your home Wi Fi and Bosch's Home Connect. This app allows you to monitor and manage your fridge remotely using your smartphone or tablet. The fridge is expensive, but it offers great features and capabilities for the price. While the fridge is a fantastic piece of equipment but it's important to be aware of the limitations. You may need to get creative with tall objects because the fridge is limited in shelf space. Additionally, the shelves are not completely sprillproof, and can easily be damaged or stained by sharp objects. The trays are easily removed from the fridge. However, they must be cleaned frequently to stop the growth of mold. You can control the temperature, lighting and other aspects of your fridge using your smartphone. It's a great way to control and monitor your refrigerator, especially when you're away from home. The Smart InstaView feature is neat however it doesn't improve the efficiency of the fridge. The fridge took a bit longer to chill food and defrost it than some others we tried. This could be due to its greater capacity. The doors are another problem with this fridge. They have sunken handles at the front, which allows shorter people to easily open them from the bottom, however they're not easy for taller people to steer closed without slamming them. It would have been much better if these had front-mounted handles. The LG Counter-Depth MAX is a excellent choice for those who want to combine the benefits of a fridge with a French door with a more efficient layout. Its capacity is above average for a counter-depth model and it cools well and has a nice layout. It's also a bit less than the top counter-depth refrigerator with an ice maker, which helps make it an attractive option. Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator This Frigidaire French door refrigerator is a good option if you want a French-door fridge that doesn't break the budget. It's a basic refrigerator that may not be as attractive as its rivals, but it still has enough features to make it a an excellent option. Its most significant feature, the adjustable temperature drawer helps to keep food like meat and vegetables fresher for longer. It also has a large water dispenser, as well as an excellent ice maker that operates quickly. The “Chill Drawer”, which is located over the two crisper bins, is another great feature. The drawer lets you direct some of your fridge's cooling power into this area so it can be used to store food items that require special attention. This feature can be adjusted by using an outside slider that is located inside the drawer. You can also use this to set a general cooling level for the entire fridge, but I've noticed that adjusting the general settings tends be more effective than specific ones.
